Summary: It's another regular invasion of the insects! And this time, it's the horde of ferocious army ants all the way from South America. Be thankful it wasn't fire ants, otherwise this horrible phenomena would have been worse!

History: Hitchhiking on some South American logs being transported to America, this legion of advanced army ant waited in those logs until seismic activity made it warm enough for them to come out of hiding. From there, they terrorized the small forest town of Burly Pines, consuming creatures many times their size and building gigantic nests. It would seem that their reign would be unstoppable.

Notable Kills: One of their first victims is a large moose.

Final Fate: The ants are seemingly drowned when a natural dam is blown up to flood the town. However, many ants, including a queen, survived the whole ordeal.

Powers/Abilities: Are apparently strong enough together to drag large prey down.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-As usual, a horde of small yet numerous man-eaters is a threat through and through. And the ants are just small enough so that the CGI doesn't get too distracting. Also, their victims' corpses don't leave a whole lot to the imagination.

Trivia: -These ants look nothing like South American army ants, which are more brownish-black in color and have extremely long mandibles. A notable thing about them is how they bite onto each other to form large bridges for the rest of the troops.

-There are over 200 species of ant that are called army ants, mainly due to how much more aggressive they are in finding food.
